Waitetuna Retreat Centre, located in the beautiful rolling hill country between Hamilton and Raglan on New Zealand’s North Island, is the Ashram, or Spiritual Retreat for members of the Foundation for Higher Learning. Purchased in 1987, the 14 acre property has grown over the years from its origins as a children’s camp, situated amongst sheep-grazing hills and native bush, into an Ashram that stands as a jewel in the surrounding area with its beautiful gardens, serenity and a special feeling of sacredness.

Each summer for three weeks the Ashram hosts an international retreat so as to enable serious students from as far away as Europe and North America to participate in a spiritual event with Imre Vallyon, whose teachings form the basis of the Ashram. Between retreats, monthly workshops are held to allow members to deepen their experience and understanding of Spiritual work. Maori Spiritual Warrior School Workshops, based on Imre’s unique synthesis of spiritual traditions, are also regularly held at the Ashram.
